For the exhibition, ‘the ideal place’ at artist initiative ‘Nest’ in The Hague, NL we constructed a life-size model of one of the apartments from the abandoned Abraham Lincoln tower. The drawings on the walls within the showroom are copies from original drawings found in different rooms throughout the original tower. These drawings were left behind by squatters who occupied the building for one month in 2004. In 2010 we photographed all the 454 apartments in the tower and captured all the different drawings.
